Pokémon World
Overview
The Pokémon World brings Pokémon to Ragnarok Online: an optional adventure layered on top of PronteraFree's classic Pre-Renewal RO. Become a Pokémon Trainer, get your first partner from Professor Oak, then travel the regions catching wild Pokémon and challenging gyms.
How it works
- Become a Pokémon Trainer at the Job Changer in Prontera — the Pokémon World only serves Trainers.
- Enter through the Pokémon World Portal in north Prontera and arrive in Pallet Town.
- Visit Professor Oak in the Pokémon Lab and choose one of three starters.
- Weaken wild Pokémon and throw a ball to catch them — all 151 original Pokémon exist in the world.
- Defeated Pokémon can drop their Symbol. Bring a Symbol and a ball to the Pokémon DNA Master to create that Pokémon.
- Every Pokémon has a perfection % (its IVs) — the higher, the stronger.
- Battle trainers and gym leaders on your way through the regions.
A Trainer can carry 6 Pokémon at a time. Extra Pokémon go to your PC storage (the Trainer's computer).
