Pets & Feeding
Pets follow you around, react to how you treat them, and give you a bonus as they grow fond of you. Some can even evolve.
1. Taming a pet
- Get the monster's taming item (see the Pet List).
- Use it on the monster. A roulette appears — if it lands on success, you receive the monster's egg.
- Hatch the egg with a Pet Incubator and give your pet a name.
Your chance improves when the monster's HP is low, when your base level is higher than the monster's, and with more LUK.
2. Hunger & feeding
Every pet eats one specific food (listed in the Pet List). Its hunger drops over time — feed it at the right moment:
| Hunger state | Feeding it now… |
|---|---|
| Very Hungry / Hungry / Neutral | Raises intimacy |
| Satisfied | Raises intimacy by only half |
| Stuffed | Lowers intimacy — don't overfeed! |
If the pet starves it slowly loses intimacy. Pets that allow it can be set to auto-feed.
3. Intimacy
| Intimacy | Range |
|---|---|
| Awkward | 1 – 100 |
| Shy | 101 – 250 |
| Neutral | 251 – 750 |
| Cordial | 751 – 900 |
| Loyal | 901 – 1000 |
Intimacy also drops when you die with your pet out. If it ever reaches 0, your pet runs away for good.
4. Bonuses, skills & accessories
- Intimacy bonus — every pet's bonus is strongest at Loyal; many also give a smaller bonus at lower intimacy. It works whenever the pet is out.
- Pet skills such as healing, curing or timed buffs only work while the pet is wearing its accessory.
- Pets don't fight for you, but some pick up loot.
Every pet's bonus, skill and accessory is in the Pet List.
5. Evolution
Some pets can evolve into a stronger form — see Pet Evolution for every path and its materials.
